Foreign journalists are invited by BME to attend the CoMA Festival
Representatives of Colombian and French radio stations were invited by Brasil Music Exchange (BME) – a Brazilian music fostering project carried out by means of a partnership between Brasil, Música & Artes (BM&A) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil) – to cover the 3rd edition of CoMA Festival (Music and Art Convention).
Jairo Esteban Mogollon Martinez, from “La X Más Música” (Colombia), and Hugo Casalinho, from “RFI” (France), will attend the event taking place in August 2-4 in Brasília. Besides covering the festival, both broadcasters also have engagements in São Paulo.
So far, over 50 attractions have been confirmed in the program, including national and international artists, as well as representatives of the indie scene. Barro, a singer whose show is scheduled for August 3, was selected through a collaborative public notice of CoMA and Brasil, Música & Artes (BM&A). He is one of the artists who is going to have his performance checked out by the international press in the event.
The foreign journalists will also see shows of BaianaSystem, Hamilton de Holanda, Scalene, Maria Gadú, Ney Matogrosso and Djonga. The entire music program is spread through the Planetarium, Complexo Cultural Funarte and Clube de Choro, in the capital of Brazil. In August 1-2, at Centro de Convenções Brasil 21, the festival will also bring discussion panels, showcases, pitch presentations, workshops, mentoring and talks.
CoMA is organized by Associação Traços de Comunicação e Cultura and produced by Rockin’ Hood, CP (Central de Produção) and Influenza Produções.
