The international crowd will be able to see live performances of:

Tiago Iorc – listen “My Girl”

Film and Technology

SXSW is also considered an extremely important event related to film and technology, and, just as in the music conference, in 2012, there will be artists representing Brazil in both of these sections of the event too.

There will be more than 100 Brazilian attendants at the Interactive conference, as they call it. Professionals of media and new technologies will gather together to present new ideas and concepts, solutions to modern problems.

For the Film Festival, the country will be represented by the short film “A Fábrica”(The Factory), included on the official line-up of the event. Directed by Aly Muritiba, it tells the story of an inmate that convinces his mother to take a risk smuggling a cell phone for him into the penitentiary.
